Whoop, whoop…There are literally no words (OK a few) but yesterday, after my extensive interview on the Steve Wright afternoon show on BBC Radio 2, my book Mumboss reached number 1 in 3 classifications on Amazon (E-Business, starting a company and Computers), after reaching the top 10 and #2 when it was first released on may 3rd.
It was an amazing honour (and so much fun) to be interviewed by the legendary Steve Wright on creating a digital company and flexible work-life after kids, transitioning from TV director and Filmmaker (of just 7% of female directors at the time) to blog writer and Vlogger. I candidly shared the ups and the downs of the last 7 years and vitally how this blog provided me a democratic platform to share my voice and life enabling me to build a personal brand and flexible profession around my family.
I’ve had a lot of press and TV appearances with much more incoming which is really fantastic but it’s the evaluations which choke me up. readers have written the book has changed their life and given them practical, actionable guidance to transform the way they work.
To know that the book is assisting so numerous of you feel much more confident and greater prepared thanks to me sharing my own experiences of work and motherhood, and all that I’ve learnt in 7 years, is the reason I composed it.
